Sentences
ประโยค = ประธาน + ภาคแสดง
ประโยคประกอบขึ้นจากกลุ่มคำจำนวนหนึ่ง แต่ไม่ใช่กลุ่มคำทุกกลุ่มจะเป็นประโยค ทั้งนี้แต่ละประโยคสามารถแบ่งออกได้เป็น 2 ส่วน คือ subject และ predicate Subject ของประโยคมักจะเป็น noun หรือ noun-equivalent (คำที่ไม่ใช่ noun แต่นำมาใช้เสมือน noun) ส่วน predicate หรือภาคแสดงของประโยคนั้น จะต้องมี finite verb หรือกริยาแท้อยู่ด้วยเสมอ ดังตัวอย่างต่อไปนี้
